Creating Your NameBright Account

How to open a NameBright account, what information is required, and how to set up two-factor authentication before you register your first domain.

Account requirements

You need a valid email address. That's it. NameBright does not require a credit card to create an account — you add a payment method when you're ready to buy a domain or fund your account balance.

Creating the account

  1. Go to namebright.com and click Create Account in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter your email address and choose a password. The password must be at least 10 characters.

  3. Click Create Account .

  4. Check your inbox for a verification email from NameBright and click the confirmation link.

After confirming your email, you're taken to the NameBright dashboard.

Setting up your profile

We recommend filling in your contact information before you purchase your first domain. ICANN requires accurate registrant contact information on all registered domains.

  1. Click your email address in the top-right corner and select Account Settings .

  2. Fill in your name, address, and phone number under Contact Information .

  3. Click Save .
