Setting Up Domain Forwarding

How to forward one domain to another URL using NameBright's forwarding tool, including the difference between masked and standard forwarding.

Domain forwarding sends visitors from one domain to a URL on another domain, without requiring hosting on the forwarded domain itself.

  1. Log in and open the domain's detail page.

  2. Click Forwarding in the domain menu.

  3. Enter the destination URL, including https:// .

  4. Choose Standard (visitors see the destination URL) or Masked (visitors keep seeing your domain).

  5. Click Save .

Standard forwarding is simpler and works better for SEO. Masked forwarding keeps your domain visible in the address bar but can break some destination sites that expect their own URL.
