Common rejection reasons
"Auth code invalid or expired"
Auth codes have a short lifespan. If you waited more than a few days between getting the code and submitting the transfer, generate a fresh one and retry.
"Domain is locked"
The registrar lock was not removed before submitting. Go back to your current registrar, confirm the lock is off, and wait 15 minutes before retrying.
"60-day lock period in effect"
The domain was registered or transferred within the last 60 days. There is no workaround; ICANN mandates this lock period.
If NameBright support is needed
Contact NameBright support with the domain name, the date you submitted the transfer, and the order number from your NameBright receipt. We can see the transfer status in real time and escalate to the losing registrar on your behalf.
